Court Resurfacing and Repair in Mesa and Scottsdale

Sonoran Athletic Court Builders resurfaces and repairs tennis, pickleball and basketball courts in Mesa, Scottsdale, Gilbert and Chandler. Resurfacing and repair are the jobs our customers ask for most.

A resurface starts with pressure washing and cleaning. We repair cracks, fill low spots where water puddles, and fix areas that are peeling, bubbling or faded. Then we apply a new acrylic surface and stripe the lines. You can keep your colors or change them.

A resurface usually takes about a week, and a little longer when the court needs crack repair. In full Arizona sun, a resurfaced court lasts about 3 years. A court with some shade lasts about 5 years. A slab that has heaved or sunk can't be resurfaced, so we tear it out and build a new court.

New Court Construction From the Ground Up in the East Valley

We build new courts in Mesa, Gilbert, Queen Creek and Paradise Valley, starting with site prep, grading and excavation. We plan drainage so water runs off the court.

Every new court sits on a post-tension concrete slab, a rebar-reinforced concrete slab or an asphalt base. On top, we install an acrylic surface, a cushioned surface that's easier on the knees, or a modular snap-together tile court. We stripe the lines, paint your colors and add custom logos.

Sonoran Athletic Court Builders handles the permits and HOA approvals. A new court takes about a month from start to finish, because a post-tension slab needs about 3 weeks to cure before it can be surfaced.

Court Lighting, Fencing and Equipment

We install new LED court lights, upgrade old lights to LED and set new light poles. Lights can run on timers or app controls, and we offer low-glare lights that keep light off your neighbors' yards. We repair court lights too. An electrician who owns his own electrical company does all the electrical work.

We install chain link court fencing, windscreens and privacy screens. We also install basketball goals, volleyball nets and pickleball nets.
